Welcome to Winning for LIfe (WFL)!
Sports are a significant part of our life at WFL. Playing competitive sports from youth through college helped shape and define us not only as student-athletes and coaches, but also as individuals striving for excellence in all that we do in our lives.
At WFL, we place high value on student-athletes and coaches:
1) competing at the highest level;
2) working hard to further develop in sport performance and life;
3) playing and living with integrity and sportsmanship;
4) striving for excellence - doing the best we can given our circumstances - in sport and life; and
5) influencing others positively through the power of teamwork.
Because of these core values, we have created:
1) an affiliated youth/HS sports club program to be supported by WFL and through which the WFL core values play out. The MN Lakers Select Girl's Lacrosse program is the first girl's lacrosse travel club team in Minnesota (Click here for more info: MN Lakers Select program for 2012 - 2019 (by graduation years) and click here to see a video highlighting the Lakers Select family and experience; and
2) the WFL Academy of Sports Leadership to serve the youth sports community by offering leadership training and development to athletes and coaches.
